Remember this, Microsoft?

I'm weighing in briefly on this issue:

Basically, Internet Explorer is feeding back results from the users web-usage to Bing, to improve search results. It is pretty invasive, but hardly unusual behaviour. Both Crome and Firefox google toolbars track certain search actions, and use this to deliver better results. And of course there is a note of this in the EULA.

I don't really expect anything less from ANY company which makes money from tracking peoples habits. But it does rather invalidate this particular video that Microsoft released for IE8:
